RIP NATE DOGG: AUGUST 19th, 1969 – MARCH 15th, 2011
In the early hours of yesterday morning Nate Dogg (real name Nathaniel Dwayne Hale) passed away due to complications arising from two strokes he had suffered in recent years. Nate Dogg was a seminal figure from the G funk era, a fine rapper in his own right and a stone-cold hit maker on the hook, yet another sad premature death for hip-hop. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
