OLLY MOSS STAR WARS PRINTS
Olly Moss. The force is strong with this one. As Yoda might have said if he had been an art critic. For a blog.
Star Wars has been a constant inspiration for designers and illustrators over the years, from OG visualiser Ralph McQuarrie to the folks at Adidas Originals to the street work of Eelus through to the people behind X-Wing that 90s floppy disc powered extravaganza. A new entry to the canon of Star Wars dopeness is the work of Olly Moss. The above images (unfortunately now sold out) demonstrate both an amazing eye for simple but effective creative ideas and a great deal of craft. All-in-all a set of mouthwatering eye candy.
These pieces have been released by the print house Mondo, an extension of the Alamo Drafthouse, who have been commissioning leading lights of art and design, such as Dave Kinsey, to produce fine art interpretations, under license, for some of the most recognisable films of recent times including Tron, Dirty Harry and Star Wars.
