DOOM TO PERFORM AT ‘A TASTE OF SONAR’ – IN LONDON!
Yes you read it right folks, the metal faced maverick of rap is set to return to our fair isles (he was born here, you should know this) for his first ever European show. The performance takes place as part of ‘A Taste Of Sonar’ at Camdens Roundhouse on the 5th & 6th March alongside Laurent Garnier and other guests (tbc), in a taster of the seminal Catalonia based electronic music festival, Sonar.
Details are a little sketchy at this stage but here’s the official statement from Sonar press…
On 5th and 6th March, Sonar will offer a new “Taste of Sonar” at the Roundhouse in Camden, in London.
It will be two nights to savour in pure Sonar style, containing a small-scale version of the intense festival experience – a sampler featuring two prestigious names as confirmed artists: the enigmatic North American MC and producer DOOM, in Europe for the first time, and the French artist Laurent Garnier. More artists will be announced soon.
A source at Lex just told me this – “we’ve been working with promoters / DOOM etc to make this happen for ages… looking good”.
