UK hip-hop legend, Big Dada repper and Banana Klan badman Roots Manuva and the Dub College will be opening up shop near Kingsland overground tube station on the 6th Sept. Celebrating the release of his LP, Mr Manuva will be selling his wares, DJing, signing and performing. Roots Manuva doing all that in a shop! In a shop I say! A spectacle not to be missed!

DJ Shadow’s Endtroducing is probably one of the most influential and revered LP’s of the last 25 years. It also boasts one of the ill-est covers produced, a piece of art that embodies its creators musical soul and the culture he was (and remains) part of. Featuring create digging cats and one of the four legged variety, B+s photograph is a piece of musical history. In Bonafide issue 03 we interviewed the artistic colossus that is Mr Lif. A conversation that suggested to us that Lif’s place in the pantheon of hip-hop talent is pretty much nailed on. He’s just popped the – by his standards – laidback track The Best Route on his Bandcamp site. The Best Route is produced by Batsauce and features on his Summertime LP (the irony in this weather).
